School of Civil Engineering
Since 2013
The School of Civil Engineering was officially created in 2013, housing the Civil Engineering Course, which began its academic activities in 2004. Since its inception, this program of studies has worked on its consolidation nationwide. The School's mission is to train civil engineers, with a solid background in basic sciences, engineering sciences and specialty sciences, who are competent, innovative, enterprising, capable of adapting to scientific and technological changes, committed to society through the values of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Another part of its mission is the strengthening of knowledge in its areas through research, postgraduate training and technology transfer to the external environment.
